The event is now over! You can see how you placed here. Welcome to MAL's Annual Easter Hunt!  Story You've heard it everywhere in the anime community recently: isekai this, isekai that. MAL's Easter bunny has heard it, too. He's decided it's about time he visits some of these "isekai" and ensures they're all celebrating Easter. If you can believe it, he has completely forgotten to leave chocolate for the good MAL users in the process! To achieve his plan of Isekai Domination, MAL's Easter Bunny will need to visit and persuade royal monarchs of these parallel worlds. And lucky for us, he has dropped 15 chicks (easy route) and 17 eggs (hard route) on his way. Each chick/egg will have a letter on it—but the letters are scrambled. You'll need to collect and unscramble the letters to determine where the Easter Bunny currently is hiding. You may work alone or with a trusty partner. Easy _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (3 / 2 / 10 letters) Hard _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ (8[+1] / 2 / 6 letters [+punctuation]) Please catch up to MAL's Easter Bunny and bring him back! How to Play   First, you need to choose a route: Easy or Hard.We suggest that users who are new to the event or do not have a lot of time, do the Easy route. The hunting skills you learn during the Easy route will help you tackle the Hard route (later or next year). Easy route: You will be looking for letters inside a chick outline, like on the Gudetama picture to the right → Hard route: You will be looking for letters inside an egg outline, like the Toshokan Sensou picture to the right → The images with the chick/egg will always appear on the last picture of the image gallery in a database entry page: Anime, Manga, Character, People. Example: https://myanimelist.net/anime/23539/Gudetama/pics https://myanimelist.net/character/104283/Gudetama/pictures To find which entries have chicks/eggs, you need to solve hints. The first hint is given to you in this thread. For all subsequent hints, they will be visible on one of the tabs of the entry that you found the chick/egg, excluding: Reviews, Recommendations, Stats. Hints will not be inside other related database entries unless the relation/link text itself is a clue. Look for anything unusual.
Clickable hints should be clicked! The hints themselves are mostly not difficult. Searching "anime + ..." a few keywords from the hint will bring the entry up in DuckDuckGo (no personalised search results). We are not expecting you to have seen/read all these anime/manga! Finally, doing the hunt will look something like this... Example:
Once you have all the letters, it's time to unscramble them for your final hint! Submit Your Answers Use this Google Form to submit the chocolate's location before the timer runs out!  Join Us! During the event, you can ask for hints and help (not solutions) using either this thread or our Discord server. First, join the MAL server using the link below.
