| last page on vol. 2 chapter 10 of the manga. i dont know the exact episode but it will happen when Rimuru meet up again with the three adventurers they met earlier in ep 2. probably less than 10 episode |

| My guess is around episode 4-5. Going by the OP the anime will pass the manga by a long shot and I think that the anime will skip or fast-track some of the slice-of-life parts of the series (or maybe put them into OVAs/blu-ray specials or something) and focus mostly on the main story that existed since the Web Novel version. Also I think the anime will probably balance the human form screentime with the slime form screentime, because slime form is the perfect mascot for merch. I saw one of the most intense isekai haters (JoJo talks too much) among youtubers to becoming "cautiously optimistic" by episode 1 and practically a total fanboy of Rimuru's adorableness after 2 episodes. So yes, the merch potential is endless. |
