Welp, it's a bit cliche but the message of this chapter felt like "love hurts" or something along that line.

Sometimes I forget this manga in shounen magazine and fanservicy scenes seems so out of nowhere lol.
Anyway, I don't remember seeing Mami's issue to be viewed like that in other mangas. Usually it's all about "friendzone" jokes. I still remember how this shit irritated me in high school ._.
Even though I've nothing in common with Mami, she is so relatable.

I'm surprised this is shounen as it comes across as shoujo very well... Well, I guess I haven't explored shoujo that well to know if it is.

Anyway, I have quickly become fond of Mami. I disliked her at first but her story was well received, as well as how she processes situations. It makes sense for a character like her, I think. Meanwhile, she's frustratingly misunderstood; as a result, I actually sympathize, unless she proves otherwise. Hah.

Mami is a lot more interesting and complex than she first appeared to be. I didn't like her much at first.

i really enjoyed this chapter! it's great to see more of shingo alongside mami's backstory. she's definitely started to become one of my favorites in the series, and i love how self-assured she is too. but wow, each of these volumes seem to be leaving us off on cliffhangers, definitely excited to read more!

Shingo and Mami are some of the best written minor characters I've read in manga in a long time. This one chapter was really inspiring in its own way. Two very well adjusted people.

I see Mamis point and it's good. I like her now however she is aware of how others view her and fighting back the way she has only hurt her.
I love how they talked it out too and Mami even acknowledged her errors. She even self motivates, good chapter!

@Fruit_Machine I dealt with this too, most guys did not like me around their girls I was friends with. It sucked sometimes but I got to know them in some cases.
