Is a good news for the anime, well for my hero rating of tv is more important than DVD/Bluray

Nice, that's pretty good. I remember when the first season was airing, it used to be around 3.3~3.9 regions.

How were the ratings during the second season?

Actually the 3.3~3.9 ratings were from the first few episodes of season 2. I think it reached a max rating of 4.5 during the Stain Arc. Season 1 had by far the worst ratings with a low around 1.5 if I remember right and a high around 2.3-2.4. S1 was in a different timeslot though.

These are household percentage rating in Japan on TV from the kansai region 4.9 is 4.9% of people watching the episode on TV. Which explains why kid shows have the highest ratings because kids watch more anime TV while adult s stream or watch box sets

Needs a little bit faster pacing perhaps, or I would suggest that episode 1 could have been an episode 0/recap OVA as much of it was recaps and they had a Season 2 Episode 0. As a fan I do not mind but seems others do.
