Link up there shows manga rating. Here's the cut ver.

And i also agree with this:

So anyone of you expect a nice beautiful Precururjdgksghjsgs... thing, no! You better read the genres!

You have been warned

People are stupid. I was disappointed by Marchen Maedchen this season and then remembered that I'm more into fucked up stuff than cutesy girls. So this is right up my alley

Thought it was a warning about the actual quality of the source material.

This seems like it's going to be similar to "Magical Girl Raising Project" than it would be to "Sailor Moon".

Read the manga until the latest chapter 42 (at least, that's what available for now in English anyway because I believe the translation teams dropped the manga) and I could very much agree that the original source material isn't very good. There's just way too less interactions and a whole lot of focus on the violence and cruel aspects itself. Here's hoping the anime somewhat strayed a little and change for the better. An adaptation aren't supposed to completely follow the original work so closely anyway due to other constraints, and this time, there's a few good reasons for straying.

Kinda wished they adapted Magical Girl Apocalypse first but I'm fine with this getting adapted instead.

If the genre tags won't help people this forum post certainly won't, but I appreciate the effort, this series is going to be great btw!

Hope this is good. The last two animes that had cute girls with "twists: (School-Live! & Magical Girl Raising Project) were over hyped for me and boring. This seems more like what I expected when I attempted to watch the other two.

I mean, there is this if nothing at all so you know.

Basically, you'll get Madoka but from the very start.

Will this be actually good?
I mean, the genres look promising, but the "previous one" (Ikusei Keikaku) wasn't really convincing.

Ive read the manga a long time ago, nd it was really fckin sad.., I cried so hard couple of times back then.

I wish the anime would meet my expectation, or at least don't disappoint me.

I love the psychological/horror/tragedy/mature/drama genres BUT it doesn’t mean that every anime tagged with those is good. After watching the first episode, I feel something between the disgust and amusement. Everything is soooo exaggerated and edgy that it doesn’t feel real anymore. The main character being the saddest person on the planet Earth saying that she wants to die every 5 minutes is tiring as well.
(Yes, I get that she’s getting bullied both at school and home, but because she’s got beaten up, humiliated, nearly raped, tyrannized by her big bro, her cat was killed etc in just o n e episode for no apparent reason, I can’t take it seriously)
Guess it’s not for me

Or maybe they did know what to expect and still thought it was a piece of shit, like me.

You rate something based on expectations? Like... For real?

I meant that they knew it was gonna be a dark mahou shoujo manga, read it, and hated it because it ended up being a shitty dark mahou shoujo manga.
