| to answer your question in english, This is basically a retelling of the anime series but since the anime cut a ton of stuff that Key wanted to put in (making the anime go from 24 episode down to 12) this is cover all the stuff that was cut. |

| yes there are additionnal stuffs that explains things that seemed left out. Like the past of some characters. that's not a problem I recommend watching anime + reading the manga, both are good and complement each other. |
