| Silly way of looking at it. I personally thought gatekeepers 21 sucked, watched it on sci-fi a long time ago and recently re-watched it for kicks. To many empty holes in this "sequel". |
| Is it just me or no one noticed that Rurippe isn't Shun's wife in this OVA? Since ruriko's last name is Ikusawa not Isuzu! I was really shipping for them... oh well, 33 years is long ago so maybe rurippe died on an invader's attack.. no way! O.o i actually wanted to know what happen to them... we only see yukino and that rei guy and saemi something in this ova... -_- this gatekeeper ova is pretty dark though a cool and different perspective from the first... nice effects and drawings though and never actually thought of imitation gates... which is unique.. all in all, its a nice watch but the series were better.. the characters in the first were better... |

| This was a better watch than the Gate Keepers TV series which, while kind of fun, was planned out and executed terribly. Yukino and her unique way of speaking seems more at home in this much more cynical world. Nice cuts here and there as well as the visuals. |
