| Alita has the power to kill Den, but hasn't because she would have to kill Kaos. Den doesn't understand why she hasn't done it, but he goes on continuing his conquest as the people of the scrapyard stay ignorant to their imminent danger. Lou covers up the knowledge that Den is part of Kao. She has committed treason. Kao makes his last broadcast, specifically for Den to plead not to try to shoot down Zalem. Desty Nova laughs at his son's broadcast and continues to act like everything is just a game. |
