I feel Nobi's life would improve considerably if he didn't care so much about what his peers think of him. Any comment or tease will send him into a fit of rage and/or self-pity. Then it's Doraemon's job to try to fix things up. I guess it's a good thing Nobi is so easily bothered otherwise we wouldn't get to see all those crazy gadgets Dora has. Apparently like the X-Men, Doraemon has a machine capable of transforming Nobita's small bedroom into a fearful Danger Room, complete with freezing cold, avalanches and furious winds. All this to teach him how to sky (and how to be persevering.) It's really nice this kid has such a good and loyal friend. Maybe it's the only thing he has going for him.

I forgot to mention there is one important thing told about Doraemon here; He is very sensitive to cold, can't take it. This has been hinted at vol1 chap.14. though now he really makes a point about it. So we know 2 Dora's weaknesss so far, mice and cold.
