| Anne's confession is quite insightful into her very unique train of thought. It goes to show that her sense of imagination never slows down for a second. And even though Marilla was in the wrong in this case, I still think she acted fairly all things considered. While Marilla should certainly have faith in Anne's word from now on, it's true that Anne's wild fantasies also gets the better of her all too often and lead to easy misunderstandings. |

| I knew Anne didn't lose it ! It wasn't like her to make up such lies. Well, she did lie anyway, but like Marilla said, she's been forced to do so. It made me so happy to see her go to the picnic, seeing her smile like that is so precious. And seeing her reaction to ice cream really makes you appreciate everything you have the luck to have been able to try. But the best part of this episode was her relationship with Marilla. Marilla is a much more sensitive woman than she makes it look like and she is willing to aknowledge her mistakes, plus, she loves Anne. I smiled so brightly when she laughed at Anne's confession. I love those characters. |
