| Seems understandable. Mainly just sequels I end up giving a low score to. I'll watch most of a sequel to give it a chance and later put it on hold because I wasn't into it. Later on I will see I'm almost done with it so I just figure I might as well finish it. Thus a low score is born. Though if this is the norm for most anime someone watches and they rate everything low and have an extremely low mean score, I find it kind of funny how hard they are trying. They pretty much go, "everything is shit besides these handful of unpopular anime I watched". There is no in between with them. |

| i just look and think why they would sit through so much anime they dislike, like its obvious they have very "redefined" tastes and to be giving 4's and lower at such a constant rate only begs me to further ponder what it is they are looking for in a anime and what makes them attracted to the anime they like. |
| Everyone has their own way of seeing things, and this it's no exception. Some may love an anime and others may hate it, simple as that. Of course, there are people who just give the worst rate and review just to stand out and call for attention... but there's not much we can do about that, just ignore them. |

| To be honest, I don't care. Each has their own of rating medhod and time to spend their life with. But for me it's a waste of time like, time is precious, it's something you can't take back. If they enjoyed it despite the low scores, then good for them. But if not, they better not regret it later when it's too late. |

| Rating any anime below a 6 is grotesque and barbaric. |
| I'm around 5.50 for whatever the reason (it does seem coherent using 1–10 values though) but sometimes when randomly checking Shared Anime I do have lower average than people with 4.XX as overall Mean score. If that happens it makes me think they've gone through much more garbage and/or mediocrity than I ever have, even if that's not necessarely true either. What does keep me over 5 is that I'm generally positive towards what I watch. If most things account to average and you want to see them through a negative lens, then it's easy to understand why people with 4.XX exists, beyond any sort of pseudo-pretentiousness as sometimes it is discussed here. Even lower than that it's just another weird rating system, just as those over 8. |
