| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- We got a lot of action for this first episode! We also got some nice backstory. Sadly, this is the only subbed episode it seems :/ I would love to see more. |

| The subtitles could've used a bit of cleaning up. And the art isn't half bad for a 50 year-old anime series. I would love for a dubbing company to pick up Tiger Mask in the US so I can watch some more of it. |
| I wonder if Tiger Mask is one of the first manga/anime anti-heroes? Well, unless he changes his ways later on. I love his laugh though. The mask surely helps with avoiding to animate his face! I suppose it's only temporary though. The rest of the animation was very cool, and the mask was there since the manga anyway. |
