Anidb has one as well which I assume has a much larger database. (Considering MAL often lists the site on individual anime pages).
As for where it is on the homepage it's in the top left.

Well "good" is subjective so even if someone finds a certain random gen perfect you may not even agree x)

That said, I like http://graph.anime.plus/ - if you enter your MAL name whilst it's not random there you get some personalized recommendations based off your anime list's entries that might interest you..!

You can use this together with MAL's top lists (popular, highest rated, most favourites) and use the min and max to determine the highest and lowest you'll accept (eg. ranking between 200 and 1000).

Hi there! I'm Kyle. I run RandomAnime.org. I just wanted to thank you for giving my site a go and giving some feedback (I just sort of stumbled upon this thread). I know the lack of anime is the main drawback, and I am working on it. This number has been increased to 631 as of this past weekend.

I am going to be focusing more on adding anime in the near future, the reason for the stagger in additions was a big update I had to do to the site. After all, I am just one person, and this site is a hobby.

If you have any other suggestions or feedback, feel free to let me know ^_^
