| People will say Fairy Tail sucks and is terrible now but when this arc reaches its climax they'll say "omfg it's awesome!" Then again this Hiro we are talking about so he could just do some good ol fashion power of friendship type BS for Natsu to beat Zeref's final form and the fanbase will be enraged again. |

| And here we are. After 508 chapters people are still complaining about Fairy Tail's fanservice. It's no worse than it already was. Wanna get a serious story? Go for Monster, punk. As if you could take any shounen for serious. People keep hitting, blood keep flowing and no one dies. Then the protagonist unleashes a hidden power and defeats the OP boss. Always the same shit. The important is to use this as an entertainment, or learn the morals and delete the rest. But saying the same shit after hundreds of chapters is absolutely outstanding. And there was nothing wrong with Cana beign 'innocent'. People who complain didn't get her personality at all. LOL. Don't understand the thing as it already is, imagine if it gets serious. Oh, I know. It would be "complex". *sigh*. And here I am, badmouthing people who keep repeating things after hundreds of chapters, while I still bother discuss after coming across the same situation thousands of times. So much BS written above. Won't even bother anymore. Just grow up. |

This chapter was hilarious in how utterly nuts they went with this chapter. This chapter was literally porn. Yeah, Fairy Tail has danced with fanservice for a long time. It has most definitely run the line between an action series with heavy fanservice and a hentai series with some action. It did cross the line on this one though. |

I mean, seriously; I've never seen 'virgin-detecting' magic before. It's rare to see a manga actually spell out who got laid and who didn't. Please don't hate me for saying this. I know that people who take FT really seriously were offended by this chapter but since I've taken a light-hearted approach towards the manga for some time now, I kind of thought this chapter was pretty funny. | I gave up on FT since Tenroujima (Azuma was a motherfucking god in that instant and he lost, for the power of plot). It still has his good moments (Tartarus was pretty good, all the credit to MarGeer and Silver for being good foils) but mostly the manga is deep in this nonsense shit. It still pull some nice chapters (like the one of Gajeel fake-death) butmost of the time its just bullshit after bullshit. I miss the good old times of ParadiseTowerArc and PhantomLord. That was when Mashima still knew how to write. |

It means that Jellal won't get the same level of asspull as Natsu because he's not a FT member. Jura and the Ishgar Gods got owned in a similar method, Sabertooth got owned too. And in the end neither of those people did anything noteworthy anymore. |
| It's been a long time since I stopped taking FT seriously and just read it for the fanservice. But seriously Hiro you call that fanservice? That's quiet tame compared to how you drew fanservice in the past. Pfft. This was funny though, and different; now we know who's a virgin and not. Seeing this kind of chapter, something I didn't even thought of or predicted, tells me one thing; FT is getting weaker and Hiro is desperate to attract attention. I thought Rakheid was a light magic user at first, but Pleasure magic seriously??? That came out of nowhere. If he turns this to To Love Ru-like fanservice coupled with his art skills, that would be a fucking win. Tbh, I don't think there will be fight scenes next week. It might be just some more fanservice, which is good for me atleast. |

| First of all, I’d like to point out that nothing in Fairy Tail is porn. It’s only ecchi and that’s all. To be porn/hentai the ecchi part would have to be much more graphic. That is in Fairy Tail by far not the case. Mashima is not even drawing nipples. The genitals are always covered. So people, stop making these comments, because it makes you sound really prude. ^^’ After reading all of these posts here, I’ve come to realize that my taste seems to be very different from pretty much everyone here. I don’t really understand why everyone is attacking Mashima and bullshitting Fairy Tail so much. I really like how Mashima is not shying away from the sex topic like other mangakas do. To me it seems that most shonen mangas only give a bit of fan service and that’s all there is to it. Mashima is going beyond that. He’s making nudity and now even the sex life of his characters part of the story (e.g. letting Natsu and Lisanna sit naked in a dungeon, to make them feel more shame, as well Erza being whipped naked). I think these details makes a big difference in the story. It makes it more believable. I mean back in the days, it was a common thing to punish your prisoner by him/her staying nude. Now this pleasure magic is not going in the same direction, but I think it’s still not so horrible. Why should there only be magic that manipulates your sense of pain or fear? Pleasure is a totally normal emotion and Mashima is using it in the middle of a war. Why not? I get the feeling that a lot of people don’t want to interact with sexuality outside the hentai or porn genre. What I mean: If they’re not purposely looking for sexuality in a story, it shouldn’t be there or only a bit. I find that not okay. Everything related to sex shouldn’t be restricted to the extreme genre of hentai and porn. Why does it have to be such a forbidden topic? It’s part of our life and therefore it can also be more focused in other genres e.g. shonen. By saying this I don’t mean that I defend anime/manga, in which the plot revolves around a guy, who receives special power by groping women. It can be funny, but if that’s all it is about, then it really is only meant for a laugh or I don’t know what. But in case of Fairy Tail, where we have great characters, with interesting background, I find it quite refreshing to have them deal with sexuality. I’ve always missed this in other stories. Well, I hope you guys are not gonna flame me for my opinion. I didn’t mean to insult anyone. This is just how I feel and how I understood what I’ve read here. |

| I thought I give an explanation on how the magic works, because many people to be confused or simply in denial about Rakheid´s magic. Put there is proof to it that it´s tied to sex and it has nothing to do with buddhism or pleasure in a non sexual way. The translation was probably poorly done and Hiro meant lust. 1.Only the slutty sister gets affected by the hentai magic. The "pure" one and the cats are unaffected A few pages later Mavis confirms this hint by first making the wrong assumption that the magic affects only adults to be corrected and notice that only designated adults (the ones whose databooks involve girlfriends/boyfriends) were affected by it. Masima goes out of his way to confirm and repeat the fact that only the slutty sister is affected by his magic. Although we should probably wait for the official translation (which comes out tomorrow) for confirmation. That said, if this is true, then holy fuck, this is borderline hentai. |

Your argument is invalid since it affected Rogue and Laxus. Gajeel is maybe Cobra are probably affected as well. Rogue is affected because he banged Minerva (this ship was developed long time ago), but since Yukino wasn't affected, Sting hasn't got his hands on her yet. |
