Well, I thought it was creative. A blend of different animations and live action was wondering for me.
The commercial was depicting the sense of wonder throughout the centuries, since mankind has graced the earth. From the beginning of commerce in Egypt, Alien mysteries, apocalypse, arts and literature, climate change and ecosystem, even entertainment. All these form part of our identity and wonder as tenants of our blue planet. I think this commercial was aiming for that, and were creative about. Nothing too deep or abstract about it.
