Meh, barely anything happened this chapter. At any rate, the chapter made it seemed like there's no going back at the moment for Aoi..

I was so hopeful after the concert that things would finally move forward. Unfortunately, the manga has effectively tied itself down to Fuuka Akitsuki by its very name. That meant that, after killing her off, the story still had to be brought back to her for a very long time- we are still seeing the effect in action in this chapter. I'm beginning to wonder if there will ever be a real breakthrough.

For a long time, I was ok with watching the characters go through this half-hearted drama, and seeing their fairly mundane story played out, with a little development sprinkled in. But it is finally wearing thin, and if we don't see some serious movement in the story soon, I might have to drop this.

Basically, the story had a strong opening with a serious blunder leading into the middle game that all but killed any hope of actually winning (i.e. making a good series). Barring an unforeseen miracle, the plot will stagger along into the endgame before finally being checkmated.

I got lost in their reasoning. How is leaving her alone going to help her? She wont be able to move on otherwise.

I really want to see more scenes with Fuuka 1. From the looks of things it's obvious the MC will end up with Fuuka 2, but I want more of Fuuka 1

exactly these guys are trying to have her avoid the matter by not talking about it. When talking about it with Yuu is the right choice

They are trying to defend their friend's feelings but doing a terrible job.

Personally I think these friends need to learn how to deal with these situations. Telling Yuu to leave will now fix the problem and only let Aoi sink into a hole of despair. Yuu seems like he just wants to talk with her about it and clear thinks up. I assumed the friends were level headed enough to talk things out and help you since the scene jumped to them eating noodles but I was wrong. Its just like in Kimi no Iru Machi when Haruto's pals ditched him for Asuka. I think Yuu and Aoi need to talk (with someone outside the door) and get this straight so the band can continue.
