THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

Hm seeing the present scenes of when Kaori meets Kousei for the first time is nostalgic..

Either way, I think this was the final chapter? Felt a bit short but the storytelling is decent for this series imo.

"Miyazono Kaori, 14 - In her final spring" T_T

I've been waiting for a sequel chapter at least showing him probably a year or two older with Tsubaki or Nagi. :|

Never gonna happen huh?

Wow, seeing chibi Kaori and her parents made me so sad. I mean, they lost their only daughter with just 14 years old...it is so sad :(

"I'm bowing so deep, my whole body is on the ground." LOL. That was so cute.

And she was so sad when she overslept her last day by 5 minutes, but after she saw her violin, she was so happy :D

The name for the cake shop was perfect.

I'm really sad that this is the last chapter. I'm gonna miss this series so much<3

Seeing Kao-chan as the main character in this chapter really surprise me. Even when from she was just a kid, she really wanted her feeling to reach Kousei. She really wanted to play violin with him, and she did it, although only once she managed to perform with him.

It is so nostalgic and melanchonic seeing her love, in both music and Arima Kousei. In the real time, she'd gone. But like Arima, I will never forget her!

Kao-chan, kimi no koto wasurerarenai yo!

Wow. This chapter was so cute, yet so sad. I honestly wanted to see the post timeskip Kousei, but nevermind.
Is this really the final chapter? Why for MAL it isn't?

The last episode of YLIA and this chapter makes that one performance that Kousei and Kaori share like the most meaningful thing in the universe. And you don't even notice it when watching. :')

Well atleast we've seen some characters actually more grown up like Miike and Nagi. In total this whole volume was a pretty good sidestory.

Well, I teared up while reading this. I'll have to remember this chapter whenever I see the anime again. I'm glad we got to see more of young Kaori beyond just the flashbacks in the last episode. This really added something to the main series. It was cute to see that violin was the one thing she stuck with and never lost interest in. She really was in love was Kousei since she was little. I think this side story ended really well and it all came full circle. We see how Kaori got the photo that would be her most precious treasure.
I don't accept random friend requests, but feel free to PM me if you want to talk about something i've posted or talk about some anime/manga that i've seen.
