| Considering how much Haruhi is interested in the paranormal, I think asking her out is a bad idea in itself. How to impress her?? Hmm... Which place is paranormal? I would say the movie theatres. Hopefully, a movie regarding the paranormal is on and it should work out fine. Although, a better idea would be to an UFO sighting tourist spot or possibly a museum containing extra-terrestrial artifacts. I don't know.. | Taking Haruhi on a date? First of all, we have to assume Kyon isn't a factor. Second of all, you would have to at least be as interesting to her as Kyon to have any chance of having a relationship beyond the first date. You have to remember, even with all the crazy things really going on, she still thinks the world is normal. She isn't interested in Kyon because of some sort of supernatural powers. She is interested in him for who he is. Hence, if I were to take Haruhi out on a date, I'd take her out wherever I would take a normal girl, like a coffee shop. What would really matter on the date isn't the activity, but rather the discussion with Haruhi. It is that discussion that decides whether she is interested in you or not. After she starts dragging you around with her and ordering you to do things, then you know she is interested. Then maybe you can move on to more interesting things. Remember, as far as Haruhi knows, she is just a normal girl. And while even her personality is not normal, treating her as if she is some goddess isn't going to get you anywhere. Personally, I like weird girls, but that doesn't mean I treat them as if they are weird. I treat them like human beings. |
