Oops, I only just now saw this comment haha. Yup, I agree. Probably sounds pretty harsh to say I lowered my expectations I guess. Maybe a better way to put it would be that I still have the same expectations, but that I no longer expect as many anime/manga to meet them.

There are still a handful of shows that pop up here and there that I thoroughly enjoy and that stand out from the rest of the airing shows and I'm definitely glad for that. On the other hand, I have gotten to where I can watch something like Akame ga Kill and, while it isn't the greatest thing ever by any means, I can enjoy the things the show does well and still appreciate that it was a step above a few other shows I attempted to watch recently.

It is nice to have other things to do though. I tend to only get frustrated with anime if I am relying on it exclusively for my entertainment during a period where there aren't any good movies out in theater or games I'm interested in at the time.

I suppose it's kind of like how an investor would advise a person to diversify their portfolio, it's important to do the same for my hobbies and entertainments :)

I saw those when i was young. I can, however look for you and find you sites that have it to watch for free like i do with all my shows that i watch if you want

i searched the econd one you mentioned to but thats not an easy one try to google it maybe there is a site which has this but old series are usually hard to find.
