Allow me to make a significant contribute and actually act like a fan of the best genre ever:  Thats what i see in front of me rn If i look to my sides or behind i will see another huge bunch of black metal related stuff. More than listening and being a fan for many years now, i also had and still have my own projects and bands. Black metal is way too diverse, lot of diferent sonorities and has some special branches arround it. Besides the satanic, now you can easily find bands that touch themes you never imagined. Not only dark stuff but you have a rly huge ammount of bands, projects, etc. that focus on themes like nature, history, fantasy, daily life, personal struggles, culture, the universe, games, philosophy, etc, etc. You can actually find black metal with any theme you want nowadays, if it doesnt exist, make it. I love pretty much everything about black metal and also enjoy many branches from it. But cant deny that the best ones tend to be the rawish, "bad sounding", satanic/pagan or nationalistic(nsbm) bands/projects. If any of you have interest in discussing black metal or needs recommendations, feel free to contact me. |

General misanthopic themes are more widespread than hail-satan type stuff and even the ones who do engage in such tomfoolery it's more anti-christianity/religon in general. Christianity is an easy target for black metal, tried and true. Even though they do it for controversy, most would never dare mock any other religion. |

| Honestly I don't know a lot about Satan in the Bible. The only thing I remember is that he tried to give food and water to Jesus when he was in the desert. Seems like pretty cool guy. Also he's hot. |
