What's your favourite saga in Yu Yu Hakusho?

The Dark Tournament saga is my personal favourite. Loved the nonstop action, and the drama that took place.

Chapter Black by far. It wasn't as straight forward as the previous arcs, also Sensui was an awesome villain.

I'd have to agree on the Chapter Black Saga, I think that one definitely had me on the edge of my seat more than the other sagas when I was first watching the series. I also liked that they made Kurama a little "darker" in his battles. Of course that was when I was a major Kurama fan. Lol.

Dark Tournament for me as well. As much as I liked Sensui as a villain there were so episodes that were dull in the beginning and middle. Dark Tournament was were I stopped when watching on Toonami, so it has a lot of nostalgia for me as well.

Chapter Black, but I'm not a big fan of the final fight between Mazoku Yusuke and Sensui. Fights with Game Master, Doctor and Sniper were much better imo

the end of three kings may have left people unsatisfied but I think it did spectacularly character-wise.

personally I thought sensui was a half-baked villain that really only served to prototype Togashi's later character of Chrono in HxH. Chapter Black had better ideas than three kings but never utilizes it to the fullest.

I do feel like all the arcs were heavily flawed but still enjoyable.

Spirit Detective saga is kinda low impact but also has a lot of different enemies as it consists of 4-5 subplots which were were all of different quality but it at least didnt feel drawn out. 7/10

Dark Tournament saga is where the fights got better, it has the highest impact and features the best antagonist but the tournament is way too long and feels drawn out to the point were you just want to finish it already at the end. 7.5/10

Chapter Black saga is the most interesting one by far but side characters were too irrelevant and the power level is pretty random, especially at the end. 7.5/10

Three Kings saga is kinda the worst one, I really liked the standalone Hiei episodes and the tournament at the end saved the weird political plot Togashi was trying to do but then again it felt really rushed thanks to the first half of the arc. 6.5/10

If they hadn't pulled the Yuusukev is OP because his ancestor Woohood a demon Lord. Black chapter would have been favourite. That came out of nowhere and felt unnecessary. It was Soul Earer final battle.
