Of course there will be subs.. And what has Daiz got to do with this? Hes an encoder, not translator lol. Underwater is shit anyway..

It will come to CR (USA), therefore you find it from horriblesubs. On top of that FFFansubs will likely pick it as well.

Crunchyroll will not take this because Netflix has the right worldwide. Is it your first time watching a "Netflix original anime"?

They will release the episodes all at once in spring or summer 2016 with subs and dubs. (Most likely summer 2016)

It's not a "Netflix original anime," but a Netflix licensed anime. And yes to your last statement. The wait will be painful.

Edit: I saw this in another article, however: "Episodes will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix three days after their TV broadcast date. Even for Netflix, this novel idea of streaming a new Japanese anime series worldwide simultaneously is a first." I'm hoping this is the case. I don't want to wait lol

Just went on horriblesubs and saw it wasn't part of their schedule. Why was Sidonia part of the schedule ? Isn't it supposed to be the same ?

Just spoke with kamiFS. They confirmed but also said they have a 5-7 days timeframe for releases. So we might get the Netflix original before fansubs. Anybody got more info on Netflix releasing three days after broadcast ?

This is probably about Japanese Netflix. Which doesn't mean they will sub it.

"Netflix and Polygon Pictures together announce the world's leading Internet TV network will be the global home of the upcoming Anime series, AJIN: Demi–Human. Netflix members in Japan will be able to watch each episode of the series just 3 days after the original linear air date. All episodes of the series will premiere at once in regions Netflix currently operates outside of Japan in mid–2016." - This is from Netflix's press release in September, so I assume that it will hit US Netflix in May or June. I really hope that doesn't mean no one will pick it up before then.

Thanks a lot for info. Ill give it to kamifs. Like they told me it usually takes 5-7 days for subs. So we can expect this next week at the latest.

Why are Horriblesubs being such arseholes about this show?

They say they aren't subbing it, acting as though we should all know the exact reason why, and if you try to ask them you get banned.

They release subbed shows, so if a new anime is out, you'd expect them to release it.

Wtf is their problem?

HorribleSubs does not sub anime. They rip English-subbed streams. If no one is simulcasting the show (usually CrunchyRoll or FUNimation), they won't have it.

Damn I should stop using horrible subs then... I don't know any other site that has all the seasonal anime in a organized fashion. Used to use animetake, buy there are gone, nyaa.eu is okay but I have to type the show in the search bar every time.

Netflix won't have it for about 6 months.

HorribleSubs doesn't sub stuff, they just rip the official simulcasts.

DeadFish doesn't sub stuff, they just re-encode other groups work into smaller hard-subbed releases with lower quality obviously.

AnimeRG doesn't have any translators, they guess at translation and use Google Translate for subs from other language fansubs. They got banned from Nyaa for having crap releases.

Ganbarou is the group release you should be watching. It's so far the only accurate release out there.

Just watched Ganbarou subs. In terms of translation and video quality its by far the best. He also did the entire first movie so no need to wait for the first 5 episodes.

That doesn't mean anything. They can write whatever they want to, but it still doesn't mean they have someone who actually knows Japanese.

i know but i was actually refreshing websites like crazy and they really are the ones who released the first good quality sub for the first episode. It was far from being google translated.

Just thought i would share.

Their release of Ajin was proven to be copy/paste from manga and often wrong due to slight dialogue changes for the animation. They didn't do any translating themselves as usual. Again, the ONLY release thus far that has even been remotely decent is Ganbarou.

Ganbarou not on Nyaa either tho ?

and animeRG version was way better than "decent". I don't know if you really watched that version or youre talking from bad experience with animeRG but the Ajin episode was perfect to me. Link me to your proof please.

I've pretty much given up decent subs coming out. Watching the raws to practice Japanese. The level of the language used isn't too high; it's easy enough to understand if you've been studying for a couple of months.

I have seen ep 1 and 2 of kamifs and would recommend them to all those looking to watch this series.

Currently the speedsubs like ganboro and tencho are not good enough so kamifs is worth the wait.
