Well it's because the anime's going to make a shit ton of money. It's airing this winter where there aren't many other anime airing and the bluerays will come out when people have money again. | The school setting and magical powers turned me off, not for those specific reasons but I kinda know where this is headed. I will admit it does look a crisper than the average "enclosed semi self sustainable school filled with kids with magical abilities." But meh, already seen like five of those in the last 3 months. You think a culture that derives from a long standing history would have better standards, at least on average. Japanese don't get tired of this shit? As for the song it makes my ears itch a bit.
