Any "large scale" military-ish anime

It's kinda vague but I hope you get it.

Ex.

Code Geass R1R2 / Akito
LOGH
FMA:B
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gate
Shinsekai yori (Kinda)

I'm a sucker for romance so please tell me if it has and to what extent. Needless to say, the romance should revolve around the MC.

It doesn't have to be a prominent part of the show. Notice how some of my examples barely have romance in them.

If you have something good just tell me anyway. You can check my list. I've seen a few but decided not to mention them as I didn't find them too good. Ex. Senjou no Valkyria, Nobunaga the Fool, etc.

Also does the show "Arslan Senki" have romance?. I just want to know in advance. Either way I'm still gonna give it a try.

Arslan Senki doesn't have much romance in the first season, but there are hints of more to come next season.

Saw you listed a bunch of the newer Gundam series, but have you seen the old ones? I particularly enjoyed Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ, but it's not for everyone. The animation obviously is not so good by today's standards, but I liked the darker stories when I first saw them.

I know exactly what you mean... but there are so few that qualify as "large" (can't think of any not mentioned).

Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova - Large enough scale military battles anyways.

The Vision of Escaflowne - Mostly small battles, but nations are at war. Plus really good romance.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis - Had "large" military battles, but they were a bit lacking.

Aldnoah.ZERO - Romance is there and the series is borderline harem; in the sense that the mc is dealing with girls often.

Black Bullet - the large scale military action doesn't kick in until later on in the series. As for romance, it develops.

Next is Kingdom. Does Kingdom also have bits of romance like Arslan?

It does a little, but it doesn't show up until much later in the series. But there is a good amount of romance between the king and the harem girl though. Watch it, Kingdom is the paradigm of large scale military anime.
