The Heroic Legend of Arslan
| I don't want to be a hater, but I think that the character of Jaswant is really irrelevant for the plot, other than be Arslan bodyguard. I mean, he was introduced as an antagonist, had his backstory and his motivation to join to Arslan's cause, things that I see with good eyes. It's just that I didn't feel him as the other members of Arslan's company, his screentime is very small and he didn't have a moment to shine, unlike the others friends of Arslan . His only shining time after the end of the Shindura arc scene was when he confronted Zaravant, and that's all. i don't know, I expected more from him judging from the openings/endings. Take in mind that I don't know anything about the novels, so I don't have an idea if he become important to the plot later. What is your opinion? |

| He serves as a proof that Arslan is a good king that can unite all types of people and get them to join his cause. He isn't as fleshed out as the other characters but I wouldn't say that he is irrelevant. |

| He should have at least got some more soldiers. |
