| I have a soft spot for characters with soft, cheerful(sorta curious) personalities. Ya know sweet ones such as Tamako, Nia Teppelin, or Yuki Hase. They always bring a smile to my face. | The kind of character that cannot be classified with a generic stereotype. Such as: -The "otaku glasses" character -The "tsundere" -The little sister who cooks all her brothers meals -The dense male character who defends everyone I like complex characters that are complex and are ever changing throughout the anime. Not to say that I don't like characters that fit into stereotypes. |
| Probably anti-villains are my favorites; those with noble goals but achieved through evil methods. But in general, I like (non-sociopathic) characters who are not afraid to sacrifice or betray to fight for their ideals. It's inspirational to watch them stand back up again and again despite losing one after another. Oh but no heart-of-gold bullshit. Homura (Madoka) Lelouche (Geass) Toshio (Shiki) Kiritsugu (Fate/Zero) etc. |
