I used to think elfen lied was a 6/10, when I was 9, re-watched it last week, instant 4/10, I guess... after you've gone through puberty things change, thanks obama.

Well, every time I look back on a show I loved or hated, I change the score if I realize I was either too generous or too harsh.

I recently updated my ratings to try to shift my average from 7ish more closer to 5ish, but i normally don't change my scores.

I do on the rare occasion if I think that I was just hyped when I chose the score that I did

When i rewatch a series and my impression of it changes.

My scores also tend to be a bit biased if there are sequels or prequels released after, which makes me go back to the original and re-evaluate.

Yo at the time I had like 20 different anime's listed. Like it was my 2nd or 3rd month watching anime and I had stuff like no game no life and sword art online listed as 10's so after I watched steins gate I was like there's no way that's right. At that point I had yet to watch a masterpeice anime due to the fact I was just getting into anime on general so I saw stuff like wow look hataraku maou sama I've only watched 3 anime's and this isn't at that level so I'll give in a 9

Long time that I don't look to my scores, and I haven't changed them that much. When I change something I have to change everything, to keep the balance. I think they are fine, so is my system. Also, they don't need to change anymore; I've watched enough to know how to give scores properly.

Rating based on comparative quality makes sense after you've watched a lot of anime. It just starts off sort of rough.

I use to score anime, but it got to the point where I was getting frustrated and eventually got rid of all my ratings completely.

I don't really go through and change the scores. I put in the number score once I finish a show, so I would probably reevaluate it on re-watching and then give it an updated score then.

There are a lot of shows on my list that I haven't watched in years, (and I've watched the vast majority only once) and they do not have a score because I didn't think I could accurately score it. Though, I don't think my scores have much meaning anyway because I'm a simple person to please. Lately I've been trying to put comments with the show, which are more helpful than numbers to me anyway.

Almost never

A lot of my scores have to do with the emotional impact and enjoyment I got out of it. I don't think it's fair to look back and change my ratings on a whim because I can't remember whatever feelings I got out of it

I change them when I want, but usually if I know if I've overrated it from when I first watched it.

Depends. Sometimes when I look back or rewatch certain anime, my feelings towards them would change. There are some anime I used to like that I now dislike (Elfen Lied) or vise versa (Lucky Star,) or maybe an anime is better than I remembered (Toradora) or get worse the more I think about it (Psycho-Pass 2.)

Other times, when I rewatch an anime dubbed my feeling towards it would improve since my initial viewing. Dubs usually help me get a full picture of the situations or make me notice certain lines that I might've skimmed over in subs or missed due to slightly inaccurate translations, or make me understand certain character relationships or personalities better.

Whenever I notice an inaccuracy between two scores (example: if I liked a 7 as much as something which I scored an 8, then I'll equal their scores somehow, either as both 7's or both 8's).

Same thing happens to me with my borderline 7's and 8's.

Almost never. If I rewatch it and and think it deserves a better/worse score then maybe.
