Hello I haven't been on this site in awhile because I've been busy with school. Now that summer is about to start, what anime series should I watch? I haven't watched many animes, so you can check my profile to see what I've watched so that you don't have to recomment those).

Its hard to recommend anime to someone you don't know anything about but ill give it a shot.

Since you liked Sukitte Ii na yo.

Toradora (Best Rom/Com)
Lovely Complex (2nd Best Rom/Com)
Clannad (Very Emotional Anime)

Other anime i would recommend

Death Parade (Anime about morality and perspective)
Parasyte (Great story, soundtrack and animation)

Best Couple of All Time

Kamille x Four (Zeta Gundam)

Honestly, my vote would go to either Toradora or Death Parade. Those are both really great anime to start with. There's plenty more I could suggest, but these are definitely some of the strongest ones in this case.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - This anime has an amazing art and an amazing story line.
Date A Live - great storyline and great art.

I second Log Horizon, Chihayafuru, No Game No Life, and Toradora.

I'll give two suggestions from your plan-to-watch list: Ano Hana and Natsume and His Book of Friends

And two not on your list: Arakawa Under the Bridge and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - these two are comedies featuring eccentric characters.

Actually, this is a pretty dang good suggestion. Assuming you know at least some about the original play, then you're already familiar with the premise to an extent (although they're more different than you'd expect), so it would be a lot easier to adjust to the medium of anime that way.

Those are widely considered to be some of the best mainstream anime. Most are ranked in top (10 in at least 1 category.)

However I recommend you find your niche (action, romance, comedy, harem, so on) and ask this question again for anime in said genre.

Oh and Code Geass is Bae. Best ever in my opinion

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - Perfect to start with.
Hunter x Hunter (2011) - Really good shonen (long-running).
Fate/Zero - Action anime with amazing animation.
Steins;Gate - Awesome thriller.
Darker Than Black - Also good to start with.
