| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The climax of this episode, declared the finale of the story (despite there being another episode left) is apparently a punchline; it is merely what is usually called the "grandfather paradox"; a basic bit of time-travel speculation (not even necessarily time-travel fiction). That this simple premise is treated as a dramatic bombshell is surely a joke. It's accompanied by the yellow light and billowing air as were previous absurd revelations. |

| I laughed at the "SIEG HEIL" segment. I really liked the duet they sang and thought this was the best episode yet. The others seemed to kind of drag on sometimes (which I know is kind of the point), but it really seems to all come together nicely towards the end. I still kind of want an anime about bird facts. I don't even know why I like those parts in the beginning so much, but I do. |
