| instinct perhaps? from the moment i saw tetora i knew he was a boy but that might be because just before they introduced his character they were saying how guys with girl characters were acting like girls now. |

Everyone treat a knowledge about his gender as something obvious and they treat Naotsugu as dumb person. So, I don't think it can be instinct. |

| Instinct and his use of "boku", the traditionally Japanese "me/I" for males despite not acting tomboyish. Oh and that old fact that when something is mentioned in anime, it's probably gonna come up soon. In LH's case, that crafting guild master was saying that former males now trapped in female bodies were becoming more and more feminine just a bit before Tetra was introduced. |

| In %90 approx of the shounen anime, when you hear 'boku' pronoun coming from a girl, it is safe to assume that she is a trap. |
| I can't remember if it's actually said in one of the anime episodes, but near the the end of volume 7, Tetora and Shiroe have this exchange - (edited for typo fix.) |
