| This is more of a general comment regarding the final volume. The birth rite sequence has got to be one of the most mesmerizing things I've seen in manga. Spell binding is the closest phrase I can come up for it. But it's more than that. I can't pin it down with words. And I think that's the point. You could try to convey the experience through language but you're only complicating it in the process. It's something we feel that doesn't need words. This was a wondrous manga. I'm so glad I bought it. |
| I couldn't agree more with user above, Igarashi Daisuke really went all out in this volume. I've never seen a mangaka use so many two-page spreads and they were all absolutely breathtaking, I'm amazed at how consistently high quality Daisuke's artwork is. The past couple of chapters portraying the birth rite sequence is easily one of the most stunning and captivating pieces I've ever read. |
