That should be like a catchphrase for this series or something. Not bad overall though. Found this series to be quite unique.

I'm glad everything seemed to turn out well for everyone. I was a bit nervous when the previous chapter we saw it ending with her praying and thing about how she was the one who was abandoned. I would have loved to have them all meet later but maybe this is for the best that they can go on living their separate lives.

This series is a nice example of 'show, don't tell'. I will definitely try any other works by the author.

I didn't really get a cohesive understanding on the main message of the story in this chapter. Like, the framing of Emelia is similar to that of Malena when she was considering busting out of there plus Vie is clearly feeling caged in the area. However, at the same time it is also shown that the other nuns have found happiness and solace in the church, perhaps due to a change in leadership on Vie's part, as the church is shown with a double page spread filled with much more colour than before. Yet at the same time we don't know whether Malena misses the church and wants to go back or not. I still also do not fully understand why it is that she says that she was abandoned herself. She left the nuns and embraced her new life so I do not get what that line meant at all. Overall it just felt like the story was telling a tale of a bird escaping the cage of responsibilities and her church, but also turns back and says it ain't all bad, which felt conflicting because we don't get a full picture of everyone's state of mind afterwards. It was a fun well illustrated story, but man did I get confused at the end.
