| Hi hi everyone! This is my first post here so please be gentle. I would like to apologize for any grammar mistake I may make; for English is not my native language, although I will try my best. And I also want to apologize in advance for making this topic since there's dozens of topics like this already but none of them really gave me what I wanted so I decided to make this. :P I've been watching animes for quite a while now, and lately I've been getting into romance a lot. But now it's taking a really long time to choose which anime to watch since I've watched some of the best. I'm also a bit picky so please bear with me. Here are my few demands: - No ecchi - I mean, I don't mind it but I'm not really the kind of guy that likes watching ecchi so please try to avoid it as much as possible. - Please no harem, but if it does have, it's ok, at least it's not as bad as ecchi, in my opinion. - Good art style - something that doesn't look like the anime was made in 1999. - I'm okay with fantasy animes, supernatural animes, bloody animes, fighting animes as long as it has romance. Just no sports anime... Never liked them, no special reason; it just doesn't attract me. - Absolutely needs to have romance - I don't care which kind of romance, it can be slow-paced romance, romance from the first episode, whatever, just needs to have romance. - Good OST - must. Here are the ones I've enjoyed the most so far: ToraDora! Golden Time Gosick Pandora Hearts (it had some romance) Zero no Tsukaima (all of them) Clannad and Clannad AS Sakurasou no pet na kanojo And some others rom-coms such as noucome and etc. Either way, I'm gonna start watching Inu x Boku SS so thanks in advance; waiting for a reply. ^_^ |

I heard it is good but after watching a few videos about it, the art style didn't really attract me and that's one of the things I care about the most in an anime. And I'm also considering watching Kyoukai no Katana, I think I watched the first episode before but I'm not sure. | You don't like ecchi but favorited ZnT? Oh well... Mind the dump: From these I'd really highlight True Tears and Ef: A Tale of Memo/Melo. Both got godly soundtrack (it's Temnon on Ef for god's sake), no ecchi, no harem, a little bit of fantasy on the second and great character designs and overall artwork. |

One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. While it did have a good amount of ecchi it was still pretty good. I don't like ecchi, however, I can stand watching it. I just try to avoid animes with ecchi as much as possible but it was pretty much impossible to avoid ZnT since it got me hooked up on it right on the first episode. Also thanks for the suggestions, I've been thinking about watching "ef" for a while. |
