The amount of food he ate was too unrealistic and the art is kind of old, also the characters haven't been very well developed yet, but the episode was fun and it looks like things might get interesting.

This didn't leave a good first impression.
The MC and the "comedy" is just too absurd for my taste. And it fails to be funny, it is just cringey since the MC literally acts like some savage monkey, as that girl said at the dining table.

Does it get better or does it remain a comedy that uses the imbecility of its main character in an attempt to be funny?

This anime appears to be a little bit "out there." Kagemaru doesn't seem to be all that "human," and eats like he's never seen food before. Will he ever calm down?

The comedy is absurd but it wasn't very bad lol. That granny is crazy too lol.
