The country I was born in, meh, I do feel proud satisfied with its culture and history, but at the moment - too much shit goes there, really disappointing. Makes me kinda happy that I don't live there anymore.

The country I live now, well it got things I do like and things I don't, but overall I think I like it.

Canada, eh... Yeah, it's a pretty great place to live in, so I'm proud of my country. I even like the weather, and it's not that bad :P

All the mods fucking blow on this website except Kaiserpingvin, Cloudy-Sky, Baman and aero. PM me if you're actually good and I left you out.

I'm kinda proud of America mainly cause we have the best military in the world... although we don't use it for the right reasons half the time. If anyone is gonna get giant mechs in their arsenal it's America, and when they do, I'll be the first to enlist!

Although I have more reasons for me to hate my country, I still love it mainly because the people who live there are my homies. We share the same blood, and I don't leave a brother behind. So yes, I'm very pruoud of my country.

I'm proud of my country. We first had george w bush as our president. Boy was he a good president. Helped the country did so much, and even concentrated on the problem of gay marriage over many other problems like healthcare. My main man, and my favorite person. Then we elected a black president. He's doing a great deal right now that I felt like the country never changed for the better. Change is bad I tell you, BAD.

I'm proud of all I have accomplished (ok MOST of what I have accomplished, oh alright, a few things I have accomplished). But being born Canadian was none of my doing (that was mom and dad's doing).

Now I can say I am damned glad to be Canadian considering all that I get out of being one.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

Proud of Australia. Damn Straight.

No really, I love my country. The last five years has been a little shitty socially and economically but eventually people will get fed up and give the gov a good ass kicking. Then it will be fine again.

My patriotism is a recent aquiremenet however. Used to be I wanted to be anywhere else so I went around the world for two years and after 12 months I realised how good we have it and how good the average aussie(deros and politicians excluded) person is. Seriously, we were colonised by convicts...that's just cool.

That's because you don’t live in the best state of all, Victoria (replace the ia + y an what do you get?)

I live in Victoria and i can safely say that this is the worst state i've ever been in.

Yay for WA! Did you see the 7PM Project a couple of nights ago were they went through which states hate each other. Turns out no one hates WA ^_^ Why would you go and live in Victoria? I am morally bound to dislike you now :(

Can't believe no one has referenced this yet:

In all seriousness, I'm happy to live in the United States, but I'm not proud of everything we've done. While I'm proud of how far we've come in some ways compared to, say 50 years ago (ex. human rights), as well as the fact that we have plenty of cultural and environmental diversity, amazing cities, and some of the world's best universities, I'm not proud of our complacency and inability to care about important issues. Case in point: the most popular article on CNN's website right now is about Heidi Klum's Halloween costumes, rather than something like the Afghani elections. Or the ban on HIV-positive immigrants being lifted. Or hell, anything that isn't celebrity news. :-/

Maggie Thatcher. The Conservatives did wonders for Britain in the '80s, albeit they did shut down many industries and thus cut countless jobs, but ultimately they saved us from collapsing.

If they'd kept the mining industry open we wouldn't have as much of an energy crisis now. There are tons of projects of making coal more efficient and environmentally friendly, but if we don't mine to coal anymore, we don't have any spare energy source.
I hate Maggie Thatcher with a passion. My dad lost his coal mining job because of her, and he's never been happy since. He loved his job and was well paid for it, but now he is stuck in an unstable job he hates all because she was anti-working class.
Because of her I can never trust the Tories. They try and be all working-class friendly at the moment but they are the biggest liars of the bunch.

I'm satisfied with living in The Netherlands. Can't imagine living somewhere else or ever wanting to leave for another country. There's like absolutely nothing to be proud of here though. Maybe at a few sports, but that's about it. Every country has it's flaws I suppose and it would be pretty weird living in a perfect one.

I am pretty proud of my Country. Or maybe I am just proud of the fact that I live somewhere, so far, in which I have been able to live my life in a way that pleases me. I am happy, healthy, productive, accomplished, and fuck yeah I guess I'm proud. :p
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'

I've been proud of my country in the past and still am. In recent years things have taken a bit of a turn for the worse though. Wish people would pay attention to the ideals that the country were originally founded upon. There's so much hate now and division for one thing.
