| I don't usually respond to every chapter update of the ongoing manga I read, but it has been so long since "Say I Love You" has been updated! I have to say that I loved this chapter (warning: SPOILERS) The loop back to a similar beach trip years later really showed the character growth that has gone on up until now. There have been several ups and downs with this manga, and there have been parts that I didn't like, but this was just an honest look at enemies becoming friends, bonding and facing life earnestly. I also was happily surprised that the artist chose to mention Aiko's stretch marks and work them in to the chapter. I'd love to see more artists point out the flaws and blemishes characters can have and turn them into beauty by showing that the characters are unashamed of them. Pleasantly surprised with how this went. Very sweet chapter :) |
