The character development and the deepening of the character's relationships are such a wholesome display of how this team battled through stereotypes, judgement, fear, past mistakes and the process of learning how to trust each other. A wholesome anime that has you on the edge of your seat wondering how they will get past the giants that they face and what tricks that this incredibly talented team have left up their sleeves.

will need to rewatch the eps to write down all the great moments, but i loved how when hinata first took flight, the wings of a crow superimposed against his form to fly

also the small building of the characters and realistic powerups based on insight and learning new techniques is great.

ending where they all ate quietly and cried was fantastic

Za mě nejlepší anime v celku. Nejenom 1 serie ale všechny jsou naprosto skvělé a miluju to! Pár jich bylo lehouče slabších jako třeba ta serie která byla celá o zápase s Schiratorizavou ale jinak 11/10

I could really feel their emotion. The sorrow. The anger. The way Hinata and Kageyama ran around the club screaming in agony really shows the frustration of losing a championship.

I feel they recovered too quickly in the last minutes, but it wouldn't leave a good impression if they stretched until the end or for another episode. Wonder how the third years are going to struggle with volleyball practice while preparing for their careers in the future.

Let's go watch season two!

Ngl, this just felt like rewatching Slam dunk but with proper pacing. It follows pretty similar beats and it even shares a lot of the character relationships xd. So if you liked Haikyuu the you most likely would like to read ir watch slam dunk xd.

I have to say tho, I grew more attached to the characters in Slam dunk, they where just more interesting as characters even if Haikyuu is more realistic in the character motivation and relationships
