Hello all!
I recently got the "ok" to co-host a mini-game! Rejoice! (Too many exclamation points in a row!) For the most part this game has a pretty simple set-up, nothing too fancy, and everything has already been approved by my much more experienced co-host, Grave_Robber. You will probably get a bit more from her than me in this game monitoring-wise, since I'm pretty overloaded with school at the moment. Unless phase changes should fall during my class periods, though, I will try my best to update the game à l'heure.

This game only requires 13 players, you may join other games in addition to this one. So, sit back, sign-up for the game, and let's all play some mafia, gerdangit!

The rules are as follows:

Rules:

1. I understand that not everyone lives within the same "English Speaking Nation" as I or other people within the game. Therefore, day phases will last a total of 24 hours to accommodate this. However, many people seem to get bored with the superfluous time allotted for night phases, so the NIGHTS OF THIS GAME WILL ONLY LAST 16 HOURS. From my own observations, that's more than enough time to sleep or go to school or whatever, but if the phases are causing you serious consistent trouble, feel free to send that feedback to my co-host and I for future reference.

2. Speaking of nights, posting is permitted during night phases. However, comma, there will be no lynching or strategy talk whatsoever; failure to comply with this guideline will result in a revoking of the night talk privilege. While you may brush this off as a useless function, it can still act as a good way to get reads on people in a less stress induced environment, so use it wisely!

3. Dead players may comment in the threads during the night phase, as their ghosts will forever haunt our game....... AND OUR SOULS. Like everyone else during the night phase, though, dead players may not lynch or discuss strategy, use their roles, etc.

4. All mafia members will meet within a secret club to discuss their evil plots during the night phase. They may post within their thread during both phases and within the forums as they please.

5. IMPORTANT SECTION: In order to combat inactivity, I would like to try out a new system this game. For every 36 hour period (1 day phase, 1 night phase) you are absent from the thread or fail to post anything constructive, an anonymous vote will be added to your vote count. Should you wish to avoid a potential accidental lynch, you need only to contact my co-host and I, and tell us of your predicament and estimated time of leave. This system is meant to promote COMMUNICATION. I understand that IRL comes first, that's an absolute truth on the internet, but it's hard to run a game if we don't even know why half the people absent aren't there. So please, keep in contact with us. Your potentially detached head will thank you.

6. PROHIBITIONS: Talking about the game outside of this thread and the secret mafia club is prohibited, as is unnecessary profanity or the screen capturing of role PMs. You get one warning after a violation of any of these rules, and you will be booted from the game after a second offense, period. No ifs ands or buts. I will stress profanity, since in previous games there have been cases of overly pushy players. In that case you will be asked to be more civil and back down or else your fate will be the same as all other second offenders. I want to make this game as relaxed and enjoyable as possible, and I don't want any cheating or harassment getting in the way of that fun, ok?

7. If you happen to find yourself with any questions in regards to the game, your roles, these rules, or anything really, feel free to PM my co-host and I and we will try to alleviate your confusion as best as possible. This means I shouldn't be seeing any "lol, how does this game work again?" Or "I'm actually not so sure what my role does..." Because you should already be getting this cleared up by Grave or yours truly over here. Don't worry, we don't bite, we'll gladly help.

8. If you wish to cast a lynch vote against a person, you must use the format lynch: username. Votes without a username, without a label, or without a bolded font will not be counted as valid, so make sure you strictly adhere to the format!

9. Yay, you actually read the rules to the end! If you managed to do that, leave a post saying "I will follow the ninja path of the Great Forum Master Smurph's rules," so I know that people actually read these. (Most people haven't been in the other games I've participated in thus far, so consider this a little experiment) And make sure to have fun while you're at it! Rejoice!

You should be able to, but I haven't gotten official word yet. I'll sign you up and if they tell me otherwise correct it, but I'd be surprised if they didn't let you play, it is a mini-game.

I am giveing it a day then I will join if not full I like to play as much as possible but I have to set at least some example for other members.
