| The flow of the story is similar to Smile! Sotomura-san as being somewhat episodic to the frequency of the protagonist's quirk. Sachi, a girl with extreme misfortune no matter what she does, and Misako being the opposite with fortune instead. The many unlucky occurances of Sachi is decently entertaining, with her friends adapting to counter the misfortune that happens being around her, but unfortunately like Sotomura, the development and ending is lackluster from not having more and being inconclusive to the protagonist not being fully cured. She's positive and surprisingly isn't aware of her curse in the beginning, but she's charming as a friendly girl who no one dislikes. Similar to the Mangaka's previous manga of Sotomura, Sachiusu has a guy who has a crush on Sachi, Kawahara who instead of helping her with his attempts, he unluckily causes her issues. As for Misako, she finally befriends Sachi, even if Sachi still isn't a fan of the occult. Unfortunately all of this lacks depth, more, better plots, and a rewarding cure to the protagonist. Even less so for being shorter than and in comparison to Sotomura which is another decent but disappointing manga from Minamori Minamo. 6/10. Although I did enjoy it, even if the dynamic of Sachi and Misako wasn't super entertaining. The crossover of Sotomura with Sachi in the end was sweet and awesome. |
