| I can see your point but there was a whole lot happening there. Think of it as a setup chapter. It moved the story forward with a not too subtle bit of foreshadowing. Liked it a lot more than other stories that have similar type chapters. |

With the pace it is going and nature of the story, a slow burn is more adequate. |

It's hard not to have drama in a romance story, so I suspect "something happens" that will be the drama in the story. As long as it is not forced and is natural to the story, I'm fine with it. |
