| Great first episode, very emotional. Sets the stage for the rest of the series. By the way is it really only 12 episode??? X( I found it to be really good, the animation was top quality, the new characters were okay, I guess that girl will be involved with the plot heavily now, Hei looks mad, what happened to him, I am intrigued to know. The cat, was it really the main cat that got killed, and a slightly significant character dead already???? So many questions to be answered!!! |

| well it's not uncommon for the first episode of a new series to skip the opening (sometimes ending) to leave more time for the actual episode. I'm sure episode 2 will have a cool opening. :) |

| I was going to wait for it to finish airing before starting this series so I could read the whole thing in one go... but I couldn't. Awesome start; the slice of life in the beginning was a bit slow, but it got way better when the action kicked in. I don't like Hei's new look (he looks like a hobo), and I like last season's music better; other than that though, this show is looking wonderful at the moment. |

| Awesome episode, I'm so glad that DTB is back!! Hei already took out one of the major characters o_O The only problem that I can see with season 2 so far is the fact that it's SO DAMN SHORT!!! |

| I liked the first episode of it, even I knew April will not stay that long. Has it really only 12 episodes?! ;__; I wish it would have more than just 12, I want to see Yin and Misaki D: and more Hei.. |

| Yin was completely absent in the episode and no sign of her in the preview. Will probably watch one or two more episodes to see if she turns up, otherwise, I'll be dropping this. If this was a stand alone series, then the first episode would have been excellent. However, for me, it simply can't be Darker than Black without Yin. |

| That was a pretty good first episode it set up things nicely and Hei is still awesome as always I wonder whats going to become of Sou also it sucks that Aprils already dead but I guess that if we learned anything from the first season its that most of the minor characters don't stay alive for very long. |

| 300 postings damn...either DtB the first episode is so good or the other shows just pale in comparison. For me the Fall season just is bad, spells generic all over it. At least I got DtB did not fail me....for now. Hope they don't dare pull a Haruhi-troll on us with some time-bullshit, which might happen in a sci-fi show. |
