I'm kinda curious as to what people thought of Kaleido Star overall and their experience watching it.
Honestly, I was just COMPLETELY swept away by it. The first episode to the last, the whole thing was an experience in itself. I was completely absorbed and touched by it that I just had to watch the whole series as fast as I could (I was watching it via Netflix at the time and I was always eagerly awaiting for the next DVDs to get sent to me). In the end, I bought the entire series. I know I'll rewatch it many more times, and I don't think I'd be able to rewatch it again without shedding tears the whole way through.
I truly love this series and I'm not afraid to admit it. It's my #1 anime out of all the anime I've watched to date and I still don't see anything taking it down from that spot.
So...I was just wondering if anyone liked Kaleido Star as much as I did, or what. Just curious. :O
i really got hooked to this anime and i'm watching it in our local network during that time.
i'm searching for a hard copy of this anime but i can't find one here. i just can't afford to miss an episode.. >.<
after watching this i really want to try trampoline, diabolo cups of rosetta and the trapeze. :D
and i also learned that if you try your best you can do anything. ^__^v
I just loved it, after watching the pretty character designs and choreograpies not to mention the character development that was very well made.
ANd I liked how it was Sora as the main character, not the typical character that just brights for a talent given without any effort, to her it was a long road of working hard to be one of the top artists and make the kind of stage she wished for.
I was so inspired while watching it, it made me want to take up my dream of being a gymnast again. I actually cried 4 time while watching it lol, I felt so much for Sora and her journy, i couldn't help but be overwhelmed with joy and or sadness. It really is an amazing anime.
I just loved Kaleido Star! If I had to pick a favorite of my favorites, it would be this anime.
I love the story
I love how it balances magical and realistic
I love the characters.
I love how there's comedy, but it doesn't ruin the story and actually makes it more fun.
I love how they go through hardships ( and you feel what they feel ), but they always pull through, not by talent, but hard work
Instant said: best way i can put it is, each episode grabbed hold of me and blew me away. i can rewatch any episode without getting bored....
I agree with everybody above me, except I can't remember if I cried, but I know I felt like crying a few/many times, and filled with joy many times ^^
Kaleido Star is my favorite series, not gonna lie. Everything about it was amazing and tied together so beautifully. I cried. Def. I cried QUITE a few times throughout the series. It hit the closest home, over all other series, for me. It kept you on edge, too. It wasn't like other shows, where you know that the good guy will always triumph at the end of the episode. Even though it's a "magicial" series, it's also more realistic than many in certain ways. The intense work and effort, the motivation of the characters, the failure, a lot of stuff . . . . . . . . . . . . . i love it. Probs will rewatch it a couple thousand times.
So, YEAH.
I gave it a 10 on the scale of awesome-ness, or whatev. u call it. The rating-thingy.

I guess it's the same for me as everyone. It made me laugh and cry. It made me feel inner passion and strong empathy for the characters. At points it was devastating, but by the end I was left with a big smile on my face.
The anime is started out to be good then become better *thumbs up*
as i recalled those days i watched it :) very good plot and songs. I like their performances the most. The story of love and friendship :) Giving Smiles to the people
I've never been a fan of the circus, so what drew me to an anime about a circus? In a word--- Sora! For my money, Sora is easily one of THE spunkiest heroines I've ever seen, she was the reason I was drawn to this show and fell in love with it. And the show itself was nothing short of remarkable!
