Absolutely loved this episode...but then, I think any fan of Chobits would. It was literally a 1/2 hour version of the show, heck, even the café they visit is named after the bakery Chii worked at in Chobits. For those not in the know, Chobits is the show Chii originated in. Imagine this episode of Tsubasa, only with a deeper love story, modern setting, some ecchi humor, and tons more adorable added to Chii. Since Chobits is my favorite show and the series that single handedly got me hooked on anime, I had a huge smile on my face the entire episode.

As for the episode as it applies to Tsubasa; it was...meh. Essentially fan service filler til the next extended story arc. It was nice to see a more serious side to Fay however. It seems that unlike most people, I was glad he didn't use his magic yet. I'm sure at some point he will (first time watching the show, so I still don't know for certain if/when he does), but wasting that significant of an event on what equates to a walk down memory lane just seems really anticlimactic.

I liked the episode, Fay is my fav character of the company, so I'm amused when we know more about him!
I still want to see him casting some spells, but I'm not so sure he will

I could've sworn that girl was different from the first scene... she was not chi.....

Oh well finlly characters that fye know.. I hope we know the reason why he doesn't use magic

I haven't particularly been a huge fan, but this is the best episode so far in the anime adaptation

I feel like it's a bit unfair to call it merely fan-service though. Sure, it doesn't affect the manga's story in significant ways, but that doesn't necessarily mean it didn't expand the plot. I like that these past two filler episodes explored the relationships of Syaoran and his father, and now Fai and Chii on a deeper level the manga didn't touch on, and that's something to be commended. It's far better than what season 1 did with its pointless fillers anyway.
