| An explaining-stuff sort of episode. Ok but unless the rules have been changed, don't servants remain in the world even if their master dies, and simply wait until the grail chooses a new master to take them? Because that's how it was explained in fate zero, unless I'm completely wrong and my memory is sh*t. Because here, Kirei says servants disappear with their master, although (idk if this counts as a spoiler or not, since fate zero is like the prequel, but apparently a lot of people watch that AFTER UBW AND Heaven's Feel, so I'll just do it out of consideration even though pretty much no one will see this anyway) Sigh, ok I like how Shirou is by no means a total wimp. But he still is just kind of, "there", you know? Archer shows up, states that a weak master is before them and thus the opportunity to kill them off must be taken. If that actually happened, man, unlimited bladeworks would've slapped hard. But of course Rin stops him, because they are sort of friends I guess, and that she's indebted to Shirou even though, ugh, I these are all spoilers as well: Anyway, onto the next episode, where sh*t is already going down, let's go. |

| This episode makes everything surrounding Shirou's involvement in the Holy Grail War make sense so even though it was a yap fest it was needed. There's on thing I don't get though, why was the summoning circle drawn for Shirou? I was hoping it was explained in this episode. It can't be just a coincidence. I will refrain my self from making any theories, but I feel like since the animation focused a bit upon that summoning circle a little bit, it's trying to hint us something. |

| Those camera backshot of rin tohsaka from behind is simply a divine example of why rin tohsaka is a top tier waifu, no matter what she does she's so cute. And her expression when shirou said he like people like her(≧ロ≦) The scene where both shirou and rin walking next to the river while a calm soundtrack was playing felt really peaceful and I wish their life will fill through more peaceful moment like that（´∀｀） |
| As far as I remember, there was no such long scene of conversation between Shirou and Kirei in the original, but Shirou's true motives for participating in this battle became clear. |
