| Jesus F. Christ I did not see that coming... This episodes had me in tears. I can count on one hand how many anime managed to do that. It's not just the tragic backstory, anyone can come up with some sad heartstring pulling, but it was presented in such a great way, I just can't... The cinematography is absolutely beautiful, the motions, the feeling and grace with which the whole thing was presented is phenomenal. I mean Dandadan had insane animation quality from the start, but this was something else. For a very long time I got more and more jaded about anime, nothing would hit me like it used to, like when I first watched stuff like CLANNAD After Story or Steins;Gate. I thought I was the problem, like I lost my capacity to feel shit, but this just proves it's not the case. There IS anime that can still be absolutely stunning and kick you in the feels. Well done. |

| it might be episode of the year I hope people don't get mad at me, but this single episode was better and more emotional than the whole Look Back movie for me, and I really liked that movie This has set Dandadan as AOTY for me, and we still have 5 more episodes to go |

| As a non manga reader, I didn't know the story behind the ghost and I absolutely wasn't expecting such background. Holy crap, that was WILD. After watching, I saw some reviews and discovered that the ballet scene in the end was she jumping the building. I thought it was already the transition to after-life. Despite that, an incredible episode. Aira conquered my heart for helping the ghost to be in peace. |
I really like the backstory of the ghost in this episode. It felt like a backstory of a demon from Demon Slayer but they took a long time to set the tone and make you really feel for the ghost's POV and why they never met the afterlife and became a ghost. I thought the delivery was amazing! I can't wait for the next arc! |

@shuffle_017 I think its a mix of both, its her wish, but it also came true. And i hope so and as a parent of a small child, this episode hits like a truck.
