I have come across this scene and have been playing it on a loop.
It's definitely one of my favorite scenes from LotGH (aside from being one of the best episodes overall).

The poetry and beauty of the Zephyr Particles exploding and the mines flying...
and to see Yang and his assistants very worried... it's fantastic and epic.

it's hard for me to see yang lose at the end, but i didn't cared much for the other fleets lol.
on the other hand, reinhard always have some stupid commander, but the rest are pretty favourable, glad no one of them had died.

this episode truly showed how start wars should have been lol.

Beautiful symphony choice for this episode, as expected the built up battle resulted in embrassing blow to whole Alliance, such a shame many quite talented looking vice admirals died because of terrible strategy from superiors, Yang is lucky he didn't meet same fate

Epic episode, the scale was immensely impressive. The alliance just seem to suck, I understand they are low on resources and spread a bit thin but they got folded pretty easy for the most part. One or two moments could have been clearer. This is a space opera done right, very good.

EDIT: Honestly, the contrast between this line and the poeticism we got from Siegfried a few episodes beforehand about rain being the tears of dying stars is what makes it truly something.

Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 (Allegro Con Fuoco) is the perfect space battle music. Apparently Neil Armstrong brought along a tape recording of this piece for the Apollo 11 mission. Fortunately there were no battles on the that particular space expedition!

Best episode so far in terms of battle tactics and animation. One of the first fights where there were no really stupid commanders that made me face palm and he like well guess this side is going to win. If more fights from here on out have battle tactics from both sides, this show is going to be a real treat and it will make the stakes higher when we see good commanders fall in battle.
