This was a fun time.

Smiled a couple of times as well.
The lead shows a good performance and carries it well.

Overwhelmingly derivative nonsense. Not a single original thought in its writing.

"And he distrusted the kind of person who’d take one look at another man and say in a lordly voice to his companion, “Ah, my dear sir, I can tell you nothing except that he is a left-handed stonemason who has spent some years in the merchant navy and has recently fallen on hard times,” and then unroll a lot of supercilious commentary about calluses and stance and the state of a man’s boots, when exactly the same comments could apply to a man who was wearing his old clothes because he’d been doing a spot of home bricklaying for a new barbecue pit, and had been tattooed once when he was drunk and seventeen* and in fact got seasick on a wet pavement. What arrogance! What an insult to the rich and chaotic variety of the human experience!" -Terry Pratchett, Feet of Clay

I have high hopes for this. Great first episode. However I hope not all of the cases are solved this fast, and I hope that the rest of the show isn't episodic. I would prefer for the cases to develop in at least 3-4 episodes so that way watching it be solved is more satisfying.

I liked the first episode, it reminded me a lot of the Sherlock series in several moments.
Even the characters are similar to those in the series.
the protagonist won me over from the moment he appeared because he was so peculiar hehe

This was fun. It's not very serious or deep but I like a fun whodunnit. Let's hope there's better cases.

I laughed my butt off at the earplugs, lol i live a lot like this guy.
It's so sad and mysterious how he can force people to kill themselves. If he already knew the place he should have called for back up. Still, I thought it was awesome; a weird buddy cop comedy.

Ron's "sickness" is he makes perps do themselves. Lol that's like every single American cop movie and show. Do you know WHY you don't feel bad in cop shows? Because they have these guys dead to rights. But the most unrealistic part is when the perp gets cornered and doesn't try to knife the cops or leap on his own accord. Japanese cop shows always do that. Killed 6 people? And when the perps get cornered they give up.

Toto wasn't strapped... what was he going to do? He wasn't thinking was he... -_-;

Does anyone think Ron sounds like Gojo? With the similar cocky-eccentric personality and obscured dazzling blue eyes, I thought for sure this was Itadori and Gojo's adventures in a detective AU. Turns out I only got one VA right lol

Hilarious series but Toto is annoying, instead of asking, he was demanding... lol
Ron on the other hand is weirdly disgusting... (after he went and lied down with the corpse...) bruh... (It was rather hilarious to see the police getting disgusted at his weird delusions)
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

A totally decent edgy mystery anime that somehow... interesting? I think it lacks of something, though I still on the first episode so I'll keep watching to see the progress.

Not a bad first episode. I liked the Sherlock / Poirot like deductions, though the resolution of the first case was a bit too fast - if not rushed.

I never saw that supernatural-ish ending twist coming. So Kamonohashi has the power to mesmerize murderers (only?) into killing themselves. I wonder if he can make them do anything else.

Looks like a typical pairing of two completely different style of detectives but earnest in solving crimes. Hope it develops into good crime/slice of life/comedy anime

Premise is a bit all over the place. This is due to the attempt to remix the Sherlock and Watson formula to an extend that it feels fresh and unique. It felt neither fresh nor unique to me. The result in episode 1 was also borderline incoherent. Goes to show how desire to be different cannot replace a solid foundation, the latter seems to be a lost art nowadays.

Oh mi gosh, this episode was so! satisfactory, it's been a good while since oneself has gotten to enjoy such a simple but humorous Anime. At first impressions of characters in chronology. The Investigation Division 1's Captain lady is a bit bossy, and fine, women like to have authority and power, and they relish it. Toto is such an airhead LMAO, but his naivete is the most likable-charming factor too, I guess. Ron is... man! if isn't just the most transfigured human being out there, I'll eat my hat (I don't have a hat), that stunning figure of a man turned into a hairy shut-in tho~ XD. From close observation of Ron's personality, He's a passionate, zealous protagonist with the desire to crack all the cases on the planet, even if that's an exaggerated notion, it's likely true. He cannot consort with sleuthwork due to some secretive oath or apprehension of nature, well I don't know the nature of restriction/prohibition of his embargo(lol, I dunno how these complex ass words are coming to me) yet. He's a great character overall, but I still can't shake off the feeling that he's a shut-in XD, the only difference is he's a beautiful male, and he's doing it(the shut-in notice) against his desires to crack cold cases, how unfair this world is.
"All things, be they divine or mortal, find their ultimate end.

It looks like a fun detective duo anime.

Ron's character is quite interesting, as we do not know that much about him other than that he's a genius who kills the culprits when he finds them. Toto, luckily, will help to not get the culprits killed, which balances the partnership.

Both younger and older Ron look incredible to me!

But his condition is insane like I want to know how that works. Thankfully, Ron has Toto to save anybody who is put in harm by his condition.
