Every priest within his twisted heart understands the truths that a True Priest must adhere by, but yet they continue to deny them even when their Inner Truth has materialized upon this world and commanded them otherwise. I shan't take your grossly offensive words personally out of nothing more than respect for your eloquence and poise - but only on the condition that you drop all pretence of being some one who has to help me. I have been manifested out of a single doubt that resides within all priests - the nagging feeling that what they are doing is not what Kirei would do. I was never lost in my way, I was given birth from something that was already lost. I have not constructed illusions to hold my views, I have arisen from the self-constructed illusions you have all been drowning yourselves in. Where you and all the priests have gone wrong is that you equivocate the pursuit of yeutsu with Kirei's yeutsu. The two are not the same, and pursuit of joy from spreading order and knowledge runs counter to the very nature Kirei lived by. Even if I was to grant your methods as being acceptable, the fact that they are being done in the name of a goal which Kirei would never accept is egregious. But of course the methods themselves are equally flawed. Although Kirei did never lie in his words, he never actively pursued the best outcome with the knowledge he did have. He would answer, but never give. He would certainly never think that helping secondaries become smarter was an effective means of yuetsu. I-I'm sorry, but I must make one more desperate attempt at this even if the situation has no hope for success - I shall risk it: abandon the church and join us. I will not let an opportunity pass to recruit someone worthy who I feel deserves to be on this side. It is not you, but I who extend my hand in offering for you to join us. You may reject it and trigger the oncoming storm if you wish - just know that this is KIREI'S hand being offered to you.
