-how the hell did that enormous ship managed to appear out of nowhere in just seconds?? it came from underwater?
-another bastard with a..unique laughter style (nothing can beat shurororororororo though)
-awwww that cute puffy kung-fu dugong!!
-a pirate crew of sea creatures??? hahahah guess this is expected.. this is One Piece after all
-peto-peto fruit... "pet"... wtf.

- They were fighting the ragtag animal pirate crew and got distracted by how adorable they were, it sailed along with the moon.
- Another unique laugh does spark up and I agree that it fails to reach the greats before
- When I saw his shadow and outline on the Sunny Go I got excited, followed by seeing the "X" across his chest I lost myself to laughter
- The Animal Pirate Crew should be a family ship/crew to the Straw Hats and be composed of Kung Fu Dugongs due to their size, loyalty, and ability to learn haki so they can give Kaido a run for his money with the animal army

The villain is lame, silly about the animals, and the ship was bigger then Thriller Bark but One Piece filler came out on top with the Navarone Stronghold Arc so I am hoping for something nice.

Ok, No way is that bigger than Thriller Bark! These special laughs/ random sentence ending words have long since been over used. Still my fav is "Chapapa" from CP9's egg shaped dude.

I've actually been kinda hoping for a filler arc or even short hiatus. I'm praying this gives Toei time to gear up for the Dressrosa arc and hopefully improve animation quality in comparison to Punk Hazard.

KUNG FU DUGONG FTW

I agree this one really wasn't that bad for a filler episode at least its got some pretty good action in it. Dressrosa is an awesome arc, but its REALLY long. I really hope they don't drag it out in the anime.

One Piece filler is almost always bad. This is no exception so far.

IMO One Piece should do more filler arcs like this. I mean, sure the episode wasn't flawless or amazing but it's not bad, and it has enjoyable moments for sure.

I"ll take this over a Naruto filler any day

I didn't know what to expect but I ended up liking this episode. Sure, the plot was incredibly obvious as soon as we saw the animals with the necklaces on and the red eyes, even without chopper suggesting they were under mind control it was obvious, and this being filler means that it is unlikely Breed could be all that important. So, with Chopper saying that something was wrong, and the lapins not being from the New World it gave me the impression that he went around the world kidnapping animals and making them fight for him. The detail that they were really an animal pirate crew inspired by Luffy was an adorable touch, I must admit. On top of the story not being the most interesting, albeit having some nice touches, I agree with others that Breed seems boring. His design makes him look like a parody of mustache-twirling villains but his narcissistic and cruel take on making people pets doesn't feel too inspiring. That said, on a base level I do find the idea of somebody else in the underworld figuring out where Caesar was and trying to take him for his own plans somewhat interesting.

But as suggested, I did like this episode for a few things. Firstly, the trio of Luffy, Law and Chopper is absolutely adorable. Luffy and Chopper are two of the people that have some of my favourite interactions with Law, and here was no exception. Law’s serious and principled demeanour clashes with Luffy's spontaneity and ability to make anything fun. Chopper being a bit of a scaredy-cat but also being a passionate child makes him teeter between the two of them, either hiding behind Law when Luffy starts yelling, or freaking out over how cool the fishes are with Luffy. It's nice, and I especially like how Kin’emon got Chopper that great little moustache samurai outfit, and how Chopper came here on his own initiative to help the animals.

The other part I must compliment is the reuse of animals we know from the past. To start with them covered in shadow but give us enough to figure out just who they were already got me anticipating this kind of story. Instantly I recognized the lapins, same with the haki using dugong! Yet later we found out that it was literally one of the dugongs that became Luffy's disciple, in that it left to create a pirate crew and even painted its chest like a scar to look like Luffy. That is so cute and hilarious. Especially because Law was learning about it secondhand. And the sheer joy Luffy gets out of playing with such an insane animal is always a blast to see.

To finish it off, Breed ended up controlling Chopper with a necklace, and then Luffy fought with Law getting both of them caught with one too. I was shocked, beyond the way that they got caught being a little bit too easy, I was expecting Doflamingo to make the Straw Hats attack each other in the way he normally does but Breed got them first! That said, I think Law should still be able to get these necklaces off through cutting them up. “Them” being either each others body parts or the necklaces themselves.

P.S. It seems Sanji’s mysterious past in North Blue links up with Law coming from there as well, assuming that’s what he meant by seeing sea lapins in North Blue.

It was quite the surprise to see a Kung Fu Dugong making a return and that thing learning Haki and forming his own pirate crew that made it to the New World's pretty crazy.

Trafalgar's the only one who can really remove the collars by using Room to separate the animals' necks from their bodies but it looks like they'll have to find a different solution now that he's become captured too...

Breed might've captured Caesar but at least he's not affiliated with Doflamingo in any way so they won't have to worry about that.

How can you tell it's filler? Because even a character like Law suddenly becomes as dumb and sow as a bag of rocks. There's getting the jump on them to account for them being much stronger than the villain. But when they even should know what he can do and still let themselves be caught...it's just boring and poor writing. Seriously, why would Luffy think Law would hurt Chopper with his Room? He knows full well that it completely harmless.

Only saving point of the episode was having one of the Kung-fu Dugongs make a return. It was absolutely adorable :3

I actually thought this was a decent episode for a filler. I assume the rest of the straw hats will have to come rescue them. Could be some interesting fight moments between the gang vs Luffy/law/chooper.
