One I'm not sure if to recommend is Mahou Sensei Negima! I heard the manga is much better. So, yes, that, Shikabane Hime: Aka and Inuyasha are probably some of the not so good titles in your PTW.

No. 6, after the first 3-4 episodes you will be thinking "This show is great", the rest of the episodes though just got worse and worse, and then it slaps you in the face with a terrible ending.

Gosick - Loli detective show, not much good sides. Story with it's mystery and detective side is extremely childish. Best way to describe it would be "just a sweet thing."

Hakushaku to Yousei - for the lack of a better word, it was boring. Even a decent cast of seiyuu didn't help. A sweet story which doesn't seem to lead anywhere.

Itazura na Kiss - was it really a romance? A half-wit girl worshipping her ideal guy who doesn't bother to steep to her level. Annoying. Both of them and the whole concept.

Most of the anime you plan to watch are pretty bad. But then again, you like Lucky Shit, so...

5 CM Per Second: I disliked it because it's a sappy, melodramatic romance mixed with stunning but pointless visuals. You'll probably be amazed by it.
FMA + Brotherhood: I loathe this mediocre and overrated shounen crap, but everyone else on Earth seems to adore it, so you'll most likely love it too.
To Love Ru: Tried to read the manga, average ecchi comedy with good art, nothing more.

Seikon No Qwaser has a fantastic story... filled with stupid, extreme ecchi. The anime is terrible compared to the manga.

The only one I truly recommend is Yu Yu Hakusho. Epic, great shounen classic.

I wouldn't recommend Bakemonogatari... but that is just me, I couldn't get into it. Into 5 episodes and it felt like nothing was happening at all despite all the dialogue. I did like the style though even if at times it looked bland and whitish.

PS: And wow you don't hold back! It's bound to see other users having different tastes! Just sayin...

I'd probably say Hunter x Hunter. It's not that it's that bad, but in the time you'd spend watching its 62 episodes, you could easily finish 3 or 4 better series'. I also thought that Monster was incredibly overrated, and I do regret sitting through its 74 episodes, but it's rated highly, so there must be some appeal I guess.

I'd prolly say "Durarara" a lot of people would disagree, but I find it bland, boring and uninteresting in anyway, people told me just keep watching till episode 12 or so and you will be surprised I reached episode 14 and it was still meh, I just couldn't sit through it without getting sleepy.

Phi Brain - It's still airing, I know. However, it's just the same thing over and over with the continuous phrases "It's Puzzle time" and "Solved" it's just shit, it's just repetitive, also I never liked the characters at all, they seemed weak and not funny at all (when they are trying to be funny). <_<

Well, it will be just those 2 for now, I could comment on others but I have mixed feelings about them.

You have several good anime in your PTW list. The ones I don't recommend are:

- Lupin. Classic? Yes. Good? No.
- Kuroshitsuji. Only a yaoi fangirl could like this garbage.
- Michiko To Hatchin. Overhyped. I didn't like it at all. Pointless, shallow, and forgettable.
- Marmalade Boy. Common, stupid romantic story with loathsome characters.
- Chobits. Manga was awful and stupid, anime's probably even worse.
- Le Chevalier D'Eon. Not a good anime in any way. Tedious, weird, and crappy.
- Fate Stay Night. Disappointing. Boring. Nothing great or special at all.
- Witch Hunter Robin. Goes nowhere. Seriously. A major waste of time.
- Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Silly space opera filled with unfunny comedy.
- Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. If you want something as good as the OVA, avoid this.

Kannagi should be avoided. The idea behind it was nice at first, but there really is zero plot after all. Yes, one of them is a goddess. Will this divert your attention enough to convince you that this isn't just another cliché harem? I think not.

I wasn't a fan of Bakemonogatari, which is essentially a 4 hour conversation that doesn't even try to go anywhere. There are a heap of folks that DO like this one though, so I'll sit on the fence here.

Congratulations on also being British btw. ;)

@RenaPsychoKiller

Ghost stories was pretty "meh". It's got no scare-factor like Ghost Hunt did; it's pure parody, but rarely funny.

I'd also steer clear of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei if you're expecting anything akin to the former series'. It's essentially 5 parody episodes, just without the parody.

I just finished Minami-ke, and it really wasn't worth it. It's very slow paced, similar to Lucky Star, but without the cultural reference humour.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an anime for 5 year olds, period. Mech all over the place, and they're ridiculous mech too, with drills on their faces as weapons. The story is cheesy and the art is rough. One of the worst anime I've ever seen, despite its rating.

D.Gray-man is a really mediocre shounen series that takes forever to get nowhere at all. You can pick up the manga after the non-ending, but don't expect a satisfying experience from that, either. Especially after the author switched to a monthly format.
Kaze no Stigma is shit and even the awesome protagonist can't save it.
Go for the first Last Exile, but wait a while before picking up the sequel. It's not quite hopeless yet, but it's been a bit of a downward spiral lately.
Soul Eater has some really cool points, but I hope you're prepared for possibly the most anticlimactic conclusion to a final battle of all time.
Requiem for the Phantom also has a very stupid twist in the last episode that kinda ruins it.
Yumekui Merry: The director apologized for it. And he didn't even figure out where he fucked up. The manga's worth a shot, though.

EDIT: Queen_Stars:
Gundam 00: There has to be better mecha out there. I guess there's the pretty-boy pilots, but only one of them is actually likeable.
07-Ghost: Seemed like a really boring shounen series to me.

First of all, your list is an awful eye-killer. Are you colorblind, or just a sadist? Because seriously, it's unreadable.

Second, you have very few anime in your PTW list, so recommending something from there is very hard. Heart No Kuni No Alice seemed like the average reverse harem thing to me, but you seem to love the genre, so I guess you'll like it.

Honestly, you haven't watched many anime, and those you watched aren't exactly masterpieces, so you might want to read some recs and go see some actually good stuff.

Bokurano= meh, many said the manga was better but after seeing the anime it's pretty underwhelming. Watch if you want to see angst filled kids/teens.

Clannad- Hit or miss. If you can stand irrelevant slice of life and lack of logic you have a chance of liking it.

Mai-HiME- ending sucks, characters suck (some side and main characters). Example = omg my friend is running around killing people I should mope in misery. Clearly that will solve the problem.

Steins;Gate- has hype. suck balls beyond belief in my opinion. prepare to be disappointed that it isn't a masterpiece.

11eyes - It's almost as awesome as Mars of Destruction! I highly recommend it for the unexisting character development, slow pace that suddenly becomes too fast and wraps everything up in the last 2 eps. Also, the ecchi parts in this series are awesomely timed! Don't you just love panty shots in the middle of a life or death battle? I know I do :D

Code Geass - This is the second season of Death Note placed in a fantasy world! It's awesome how they managed to change Light's appearance but still fully retain his personality! Also, I love how the mecha fit in the story. Without them, the whole story would be completely pointless :D

Higurashi Kira - I couldn't wait for the day when Higurashi would turn into a lolicon ecchi series! :3 It's like a dream come true! Truth be told, my eyes did bleed while I watched the first 2 episodes, but oh well, IT WAS WORTH IT TO SEE A MECHA IN MY FAVOURITE ANIME!

I have a sarcastic soul as well, and I appreciated your post. I will now gladly return the favour.

Aria: Who needs a story when you have moe pink-haired girls on gondolas? Only a very stupid, heartless person could dislike this deep masterpiece.
Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama: I had the honour of reading the first manga chapter, and it was a memorable experience. Truly a original, unforgettable shoujo series, different from anything else. The main characters are out of this world.
Negima: I've had the pleasure of reading this beautiful manga, too. Intelligent, unique, and overall brilliant. Anyway, the fanservice was not enough. There were a few panels with no panty shots in them.
Princess Resurrection: Amazing. Another manga that I will never forget. Boobs, blood, and brainless characters, what more could you want?
Shugo Chara: The first volume of the manga is jaw-dropping. I've never seen a mahou shoujo series like this. Honestly deserves a perfect score, not like other inferior manga, such as Death Note and Black Lagoon.
Sugar Sugar Rune: I can never get enough of cliche-filled mahou shoujo, so I decided to watch this lovely anime. Really recommended. The characters and the art style are the best you'll ever see.

About Negima, I'm a big, BIG ecchi/harem hater, but I still loved it for the Mahou Part (the manga that is). It's not the typical 'Moon Wand Power' or 'Strawberry golden jiggly heart power!''
It's fun to read :D
I couldn't agree more with you on Princess Resurrection, dunno if I really want to put myself through the hell of the anime.
Sugar Sugar Rune is my fav manga. End of story. Don't care what a disaster the anime may be. I'll watch it even if it consists only of Naruto fillers.

ABOUT YOUR MANGA PTR
DearS - You will feel heavily trolled. It kills brain cells. I'm serious. I could feel my IQ dropping while I read it.
Gravitation - A disgrace to the whole yaoi genre. Pink haired boys playing guitars and getting 'raped' by their senior.
Higurashi - Sit in front of your computer, take a crayon and copy the scenes from the anime without paying attention to the placement of your characters. Did you know Rena can fly? :D
Kannazuki - The anime was much, MUCH better. I really didn't want to see Himeko's inner organs during Himemiya's rape.
